The forecast called for rain all day and we only got about 15 min of rain! We definitely lucked out and had to take advantage of the sun today!

Light morning walk to enjoy some morning drinks outside!

Cafe kitty 😻

Then onto Marble Mountain. Lots of temples and pagodas here.

Next to Trạm dừng chân Chùa Linh Ứng (Lady Buddha).

We were very hungry after all this walking around and lots of stairs. Onto lunch at a vegetarian place!

Sugarcane juice with coconut and a mango smoothie
Nấm sốt bơ tỏi : button mushroom cooked with butter garlic and herbs : that was the description on the menu but this was so much ore than just butter and garlic. This is one of the best things I’ve had here. Wow!
Hoành thánh sốt chua ngọt : sweet and sour fried wontons
Bún cá thì là : tofu, dill, turmeric powder, rice noodles, chieves

We realized this was the first meal at a real sit down restaurant we’ve had. It’s all been street food or the cooking class.

Showered up at the hotel and let the food digest for a little bit. Then we went to get our nails done! A little self care! $10 gel manicure!

By the time this was done, it was time to head back to Han Market to pick up Kats pants that she has custom made.

The freshest most delicious mangos
Snack on the river

We walked along the river for a ways while the sun set and took a different path back towards the hotel. This was Kats last night so we did lots of talking and reflecting on the last week together!

Always in the mood for a refreshing drink with the heat and humidity! Lemonade for Kat and a matcha with cream cheese foam for me!

I needed a little more substance so picked up some chicken pho on the way back to the hotel!

For anyone waiting for the results: here you go! They turned out great!

It has been a pleasure traveling with Kat. We have a very similar travel style and I have had so much fun! I’m so glad we got to experience this together!

Now I head into the next phase of my trip as a solo traveler.
