France – Day 10 – Paris

Off to Paris for a few days!! I took the Chunnel from London to Paris, and it only took a little over 2 hours.

First thing I was able to do once I got in was meet up with my friend Demi. Demi was an exchange student senior year of high school from the Netherlands. We knew we had to meetup once I came over to Europe. Her dad actually lives in Paris and she was going to be there a few days before me and leaving today. So we worked it out where I arrived earlier and she left later so we could at least get lunch and catchup! We have seen each other twice since graduating. She is so lovely and it’s been like no time has passed! Hoping to get her out to nyc soon!

Then once again, I walked. Honestly, hadn’t don e research on what to do in Paris so I just wandered.

Fun fact, I actually sang in Notre Dame, pre fire, in 2017.

Stumbled upon a second hand market. Let me tell you, thrifted clothes are cuter and way cheaper than New York! Ended up getting a pair of shorts and a scarf.

The city is preparing for the 2024 summer Olympics.

Probably the most beauty picture of my trip… I was in desperate need of some cheese and bread !

Then finally, to round out the night, I saw a show at the Moulin Rouge! Very late night and unique experience.
