France – Day 12 – Paris

Last full day in Europe! I’ve enjoyed my time but I missed my boy ❤️ ready to get home him . But he is having fun with his friend Harley.

I had a lunch reservation at Aux Crus de Bourgogne, recommended by my friend Alex! So I hung around in this park for a bit reading my book before the reservation. I wanted to be able to eat as much a possible at lunch so I didn’t opt in for breakfast today.

Histoire de Paris – l’Opéra de la Rue de Richelieu

On my walk over to the restaurant…

Jardin du Palais Royal – as I was walking through here, I realized this was totally in a season 1 episode of Emily in Paris
Bouef Bourgogne- basically like a beef stew cooked in a red wine sauce ! This was their signature dish

Lots more walking and exploring neighborhoods!

I found this bakery on TikTok that has a crookie (croissant + cookie) and naturally I had to get it!

The Basilica of Sacré-Cœur de Montmartre

Walked around the neighborhood Montmartre. There were some artists lined up and you know… sometimes those are fakes and copies and they try to scam you, but I saw this guy and I watched him paint and ever painting he had was unique and you could definitely tell they were real. So I got one! 🤩 super cool!

I love how messy and abstract it is. It’s supposed to be the basilica with a cafe in front with wine glasses.
Stopping for a sweet drink that isn’t alcohol😅. There are TONS of bubble tea places here! Surprisingly
Dinner of champions!!

Recommended from my friend Demi, I went to this light show in Saint-Eustache Church. It was a really unique experience!

After the show, I rushed across town to get a view of the Eiffel Tower as it sparkled as it only does this on the hour for 5 minutes! I was able to see it for about 3! Woo!

Tomorrow is my final day. Going to Versailles but it’s going to rain all day… hopefully it’s not too bad. Then flight at 8 pm!
