Oh my gosh, such a crazy fun day! Today was Kings Day. King Willems birthday is tomorrow but they celebrated on Saturday instead. Either way, it’s a day where everything shuts down and people are out in the streets wearing orange and drinking literally the entire day! We made some friends along the way and had so much fun. It was unlike anything I’ve experienced. In the US, we party for a lot of holidays, but it’s never something to this size. In the peak of the afternoon/evening, it was kinda like a college football tailgate but the size of the entire city, no joke! And you just buy drinks from people with coolers on the street. Crazy.
