UK – Day 4 – London

Another beautiful day in London! We are having the absolute best weather here… while I hear nyc is cold and rainy 😢 (poor Louie) .

Started the morning off with a walk and a coffee stop. Black tea and a cinnamon bun in my case.

LOVE this photo. Rocco setup his phone across the street and took it from his watch. It’s giving “Friends” 😝

Rocco, Mary, and Joey went on a short run while the rest of us got ready for the day and then off we went! Today’s goal was Borough Market and shopping. So lots of walking!

Took the metro back to the main city center to meet up with Mary and Lorna (from the FreeWheel London office !), so now in Chinatown/Soho area.

Let me tell ya, these guys shopped till they dropped! Multiple purchases were made! Good job guys!

Meanwhile… the girls sat and chat on a bench 😎
And Mary did get this cutie pair of shoes!

I know all that does seem like much, but we probably shopped for almost 5 hours . We were all cooked by the end and ready to rest our feet and eat!

Mary’s pre marathon dinner has to be KBBQ, however the rest of the group wasn’t feeling that, so Mary and I went off on our own for dinner, while the rest grabbed a drink at a Pub waiting for their dinner reservation later that evening.

She did it! Carbs are loaded for tomorrow!

After this Rocco and I met up with Sharon, Joey, and Derek for their dinner, then made our way back to the Airbnb. Dropping off some water and snacks, then to tuck Mary into bed before her crazy day tomorrow.

And then the non runners head out for the first pub visit and first Guinness of the trip!
