I got to sleep in a little bit today. I FaceTimed my parents for Thanksgiving and chatted for a while before heading to meet Elena at her office building. Doug and I took the ferry across Victoria Harbor to Kowloon.

Lunch!

So much food, we needed to walk it off. Walked along Tsim Sha Tsui Waterfront Park to Avenue of Stars. There is a huge fancy shopping mall over there called K11 Musea.

Now onto the Hong Kong Palace Museum!

These artifacts come from the Palace Museum of the Forbidden City in China. The two pictures below, along with a lot more artifacts, were only discovered 1-3 years ago from within 6 sacrificial pits from Sanxingdui dating back 2600-4500 years ago.

There were so many cool artifacts from The Forbidden City and I learned a lot about it and the Qing Dynasty, followed by the uprising of Mao and the Communist party.
It was dark when we came out. There was the Hong Kong Winterfest going on in West Kowloon Art Park, so we walked that for a bit and grabbed a drink. I was even approached to do an interview from the news on the event.

Took the Star Ferry back across the water and made our way back for the night.
