Spent most of the day outside of town and took the subway to Tai Po to Tsz Tsan Monastery. Side note: look at how clean and quiet and safe their trains are…👀

Views were insane at the monastery.

It’s common to write someone’s name on a piece of paper and walk around the buddha three times to bring that person happiness and good luck , then you place the paper in a collection box thing off to the side. So we joined in on that.
Painting on a leaf from hundred of years ago!
Can you see the lizard?
Cooked foods center in Sha Tin.
Shrimp and pork wonton soup, fried chicken thighs, char siu rice rolls
Dried fish is such a big thing here! They have shops everywhere with this stuff.
Ten Thousand Buddhas Monastery
Leaving the back side of the monastery these guys were just chilling next to the path!!!! Crazy!
Such a surprise, thats not guaranteed to see!

Afternoon stop for a fruity drink? Yes! My fav : cheese foam green tea with mango .

Hopped back on the train a little further south to Kowloon and visited Nan Lian Garden which is a part of Chi Lin Nunnery.

It’s surrounded by tall buildings but is so quiet and the birds are very noisy. So cool!

Back over to Tsim Tsa Tsui which is up against the Ayer in Kowloon. Quick drink watching the sunset before we got to ride in the Aqualoona!

I should’ve taken a picture of the boat. The views were incredible though!

Then on to dinner to end the night. Japanese restaurant.
