My final day in Asia 😭
Spent the day exploring Lantau Island. Started off with a very large breakfast at the hotel and walked over take a gondola ride across the mountains to a village called Ngong Ping.

Travelled to the back side of the island to a small village named Tai O!

We started off by taking a little boat ride through the canal. Super cool to see all the homes.

Followed by some more walking and exploring, as usual. This was such a cute little town!

The whole time in HK I’ve been looking at tea pots and have never been able to pull the trigger to buy one. I’ve only recently started liking tea but I don’t know much about it and thought maybe an actual teapot was not practice for me… but we came across these ladies selling individual mugs on the side of a street in Tai O, and I had to do it. I actually only own one mug at the moment so I will definitely get use out of a second one.

Took a ferry from Tai O back to Tung Chung . Sat for a bit for some drinks and to eat dinner . (Forgot to get pics of dinner but we had some middle eastern food with lots of pita and dips and so good!!)

Finished packing and cleaned up a bit for my flight… these guys had to stay behind. Not enough room in my bag. They’ve done me good for 5 years but this trip wore them out. I dont think I’d be able to get rid of the smell if I tried😵 💀

Well… if you made it this far, thank you! Thanks for keeping up with my travels, I hope you enjoyed reading about it! I got a little lazy with my posts towards the end, but I think this was a great way for me to document and reflect on my time.
Currently typing this from my gate at the airport. I’m very grateful for this experience. I’ve learned a lot! I’m not ready for it to be done, but I am ready to see my friends and sleep in my bed.
I’ve got about 24 hours of travel ahead… see you soon New York! ✈️
