Shelby's Travels

Long long long travel day!! Our layover was in Stockholm so of course we had to try some real Swedish Meatballs for lunch. So delicious!

Finally made it to Amsterdam! Our day consisted of lots of walking and drinking to get a feel for things.

I’m currently reading Anne Frank’s Diary but haven’t finished yet. And unfortunately, we had no idea you had to tickets 6 weeks ahead… so we will not being going in. Which is a bummer but we are making sure to read and learn our history anyways.

A quick drink and a bite to eat… although the food was just some bar food and wasn’t very good , so that’s not pictured… although we did have some Dutch croquettes which were kinda fried balls of a gravy kinda mixture. Those were great !

We had a beautiful sunny day to welcome us to the city. It’s a beautiful town with the old buildings, canals, and tulips everywhere!!

And then a stop for a drink at Rosalia’s Menagerie. So lovely.

We are definitely ready to crash now and recharge for a full day tomorrow! Stay tuned!
