Day 2. Our only full day together in Glasgow, so you know that meant we had to make the most of it!

Started our day off early today to make a trip up to Loch Lomond. About 45 min north of Glasgow involving a train and a bus. But we made it up to a little town called Luss which is right off the lake.

I think like 2 of you out there will get this but this was such a staple memory of high school choir, give her a listen! (Shout out Mr B) .

Good baby 🙂

We had the absolute best weather today. Started off a little chilly but comfortable in the sun and ended around 65. So perfect, especially after learning it was chilly, dreary and rainy the last week.

He was a good sport though walking around with wet socks and pants all day 😅

My only sighting of highland cows!!

That was all for Luss and Loch Lomond. Spend about 3-4 hours out there. We made our way back to Glasgow to begin a tour of the West End of town. Mainly to see the University of Glasgow, where Rob goes to class and the area surrounding the school.

Loved all the cool buildings! just so cute to see the stone architecture.
Pit stop for lunch and a tea! we always gravitate towards Asian food, and I’m def not complaining!
Glasgow Botanic Gardens

The below set of photos show the main part of campus. This building has stood since 1690 .

Kelvingrove Art Gallery
Kelvin Hall

Campus was so lively! Everyone was outside in the amazing weather. It was just so nice walking around and seeing Rob’s new life over here and hear him talk about his passions☺️

After a day of walking!!!! We def needed to rest our feet and have a drank. and crazy odds that Rob lives right across from a tiki bar! (Most of you know my parents and I are obsessed with tiki bars). The place was super cute but we opted to sit outside since it was so nice. And time with Rob wouldn’t be complete without some card games!

Then night is complete with a bite to eat and a little live music.

Heading to London early in the morning. But I’m so glad I got to spend some time with my dear friend and even better to do it in a different country! ❤️
