Per usual… matcha, croissant, and some light reading to start my day! 😁 Makes me so happy, wish this could be every morning!

Today was very chill. I slept in a little later than normal and took my time. Lots and lots of walking.

I’ve been planning to build up my arm as a sort of travel journey with tattoos. The idea is to have small, fine line tattoos speckled across my left arm. I’ve had the idea for a while. And the goal is to find something that’s significant and meaningful to each country. With that said, the lotus flower is the flower of Vietnam. It symbolizes strength, commitment, and optimism, because each night, it resubmerges back into the muddy water, to then bloom beautifully and clean every morning. I originally thought the lotus was too cheesy to get, but now that my time is coming to an end in Vietnam, it’s been so clear to me the significance of this flower. And of course, it doesn’t matter what people may think, because it symbolizes my time here and the memories I’ve made. 😁

Lots more walking! I didn’t have anything planned for today, so I just wanted to see more of the city and see what I could find!

I stopped and got a 60 min food massage (for $12!)! I’ll never feel guilty treating myself, especially with these prices!

Some of you may know, but my family, specifically my parents (and now me) are obsessed with tiki bars. Every where we go we have to find a tiki bar! My parents also collect tiki mugs from their travels. Sometimes the bars have custom mugs. So anyways, I was able to find a tiki bar here in Saigon! Unfortunately, they didn’t have any custom mugs to sell though. But I sat there for a bit, had two drinks, some light food and read my book. Very pleasant and relaxing evening!

Took a ride on a motorbike back to the hotel for the night!

Tomorrow is my last full day in Vietnam 😭 probably just going to eat the whole day 🫣 I can’t get over this food!! I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again, best food of my life!
