First post of the trip!!!! Thanks for tuning in! 😝

23 hours travel day is complete, and I was able to get a lot of sleep which was so great!

Once I finally made it to Bangkok and checked in at the hotel, my first priority was to get some cash and find some food!

I walked a bit to get a feel for the neighborhood and scope of the food situation. I’ll always go for street food. It never disappoints, it’s usually what all the locals are eating so you know it’s good and cheap. And I just asked the guy working there what he usually gets so that’s what I go! Pretty good for the first meal of the trip!

There are also stray cats everywhere 🥺

Stumbled on a market nearby with food and local vendors.

Walked for a bit more and then had some time to spare before my mom arrived. Went for a little night swim and read my book.

Then reunited with my mama! Much more to come tomorrow!
